This is one of the better campgrounds I have ever stayed in. Many spots feel very isolated from the others nearby. The lake is amazing and two trailheads are easy to get to from the campground.

The hike from the trailhead on Hwy 20 is about 30 min down many switchbacks but not bad going down the rocky trail. The view over the side of the dam is amazing.
