There is nothing more excellent than walking the clifftop paths and boardwalks from Bondi Beach to Coogee, (and back again if you're game). The views out to sea and across the coastline are spectacular, and the sandstone cliff backdrops are awe-inspiring as the soft, weathered stone tells of many ages and you can't help yourself but to touch them. There are water stations at Tamarama and then at the top of the hill looking out across the cemetery at Clovelly, so bring your water bottle. You'll need walking shoes and a hat as well as a camera because there are so many photo opportunities it's not funny. The walk itself isn't taxing and whilst there are several sets of stairs built into the rock, there are seats positioned at the top of the stairs so you can catch your breath whilst looking out to sea.
