This place is a must see for anybody taking a road trip down the East Coast. However, it's the type of thing that you really only need to do once. There are some great photo opportunities around thanks to all of the random statues and signs. Other than that, there really isn't too much to do besides fill up your gas tank. The whole place does have a fairly grimy and unsafe feel to it and I definitely wouldn't want to stay in a hotel or have a meal there. My husband and I did have fun during the 15 minutes we spent at SOB though- we took some pictures and bought a keychain from the gift shop. I'm definitely glad that we went but I probably wouldn't go back.

I'm pretty sure Earl of Sandwich has the best sandwiches in the entire world. This place is honestly one of my favorite parts of coming to WDW and my husband and I don't seem to be able to go to Downtown Disney without getting a sandwich from here. I truly have a caprese obsession and I order a caprese sandwich whenever I see it on a menu. Earl of Sandwich, without a doubt, has the best caprese sandwich I have ever eaten. It's absolutely amazing. The bread is warm and toasted but the cheese and tomatoes are cold. It's quite the experience for a caprese fanatic.

This place is incredibly cheap compared to most of Disney. My husband and I ate here most of our vacation because it was so much more affordable. Sure, you have to leave the parks for a little while, but it's completely worth it.

Sometimes there's a line - A HUGE line. People really love Earl of Sandwich. The tables inside are pretty much always completely taken. However, there's usually a few that are empty in the outside eating area. My husband and I have a system when we come here to eat; he gets on line and I ninja around attempting to get the next available table.

Definitely eat here but make sure you have a table ninja employed whilst you're waiting on line.

This place is absolutely fantastic and I'm so happy that I stumbled upon it. My husband and I went to Salem for our honeymoon back in 2013 and decided to venture out to nearby towns/cities. We eventually ended up walking around in Somerville and discovered Amsterdam Falafelshop. This place is definitely one of my favorite discoveries and I would love to go back.

Being a vegetarian, it's sometimes hard to find places that aren't completely filling up their menus with meat. Everything seems to have meat in it these days. I can't even order a mac & cheese in some places because they sprinkle it with bacon. Come on! Thankfully, Amsterdam Falafelshop serves food that is both vegetarian and wonderful. This place honestly has the best falafel ever. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

You definitely have to eat here. Forget all of your American money at home? Never fear! Amsterdam Falafelshop accepts euros.

The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is an experience that can't truly be put into words. It's absolutely wonderful (to say the least). Guests have the ability to come a little early and have a picnic whilst overlooking the most beautiful scenery. This is possibly the most breathtaking view in the entire Hudson Valley and something everybody living in the area must be sure to see at least once.

We saw the 2014 production of Othello, and what an incredible production it was. Wow. This was an absolutely incredible show. I was honestly never really a fan of Othello. However, this show absolutely blew and changed my mind. All of the actors were phenomenal, their take on the story was unique, and the last scene of the show still gives me shivers. I guarantee that anybody else who saw this production completely agrees.

La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion is one of my favorite places to eat in EPCOT (and probably all of Walt Disney World). There were honestly times that my husband and I would spend our entire day in a different park and then make our way over to EPCOT just to have nachos here for dinner. That being said, the nachos are insanely good and I really don't think I've had better nachos anywhere else. They're messy but they're beyond fantastic.

I love hanging out in the outdoor seating area and watching the birds and squirrels. The animals are very brave though and there's a very good chance that they'll attempt to go after your food. There was one day that my husband got up to go get napkins and a bird came swooping in and stole some of his nachos. I found it fairly entertaining, but then again, I wasn't the one with missing nachos (until my husband stole some of mine because I didn't defend his food from the swooping seagull).

Definitely stop by La Cantina de San Angel if you're looking for an insanely awesome nacho experience. Just make sure you're prepared to use your body as a shield to protect your food from the swooping and climbing animals. After all, they're fans of insanely awesome nacho experiences too.
