Great place to take a dip and cool off and when I mean cool off I mean holy shoot is this water cold 🥶. My kids loved it!

Worth the stay
This resort has the potential to be great. However it’s still being revamped by holiday inn. The people at the resort aren’t very happy and treat the guests like we are more of a bother than a blessing. The villa phones don’t all work and the the appliances need replaced bad. But we rented canoes and had a great time on the lake and pool. There is no store or food on the property so you have to bring your own or leave.
If you like the movie cars you will immediately recognize this building. It is a great photo opportunity for the Route 66 stuff.
Perfect spot to camp. It’s in total walking distance to the edge of the canyon
This is a great place if you’re family loves climbing on rocks and taking pictures. There is some great history here. However be prepared for $8.00 per person and a grumpy person who collects the money.
We followed the GPS ... then found it reading the past reviews. The road isn’t marked very well needed to do it twice to hear the whole thing. Must know where your tire right tire is of you miss it...easy to get off the small so g path.
