My boyfriend and I visited Thanks-Giving Square in Dallas on our last trip there. It is a wonderful place even if you are religious or not, you have to visit the chapel, it’s design is brilliant and you will surely admire it. The outdoor park has a beautiful waterfall where you can find quiet in a peaceful environment. The museum is very interesting too. The visiting hours are kind of strange so make sure that it is open before you visit it. I have to inform you that some people, probably homeless, live in the park.
I visited Dallas Arboretum with my boyfriend and another friendly couple last year and we had a great time. When we arrived we were surprised by how big this place was and how beautiful. There are plenty of things to see there except from the wonderful gardens, there is an outdoor cafe with a nice view of the lake, a nice gift shop and many interesting activities for your kids too. My tip is to try visit this place while everything is in bloom and with a nice weather, cause the beauty of this landscape is at its finest this time of the year.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Contessa in San Antonio for a relaxing weekend. The parking was expensive but we enjoyed the valet service! You can visit this hotel even without a car because in walking distance there are many places that you can go to. Our room was roomy, nicely decorated and comfy. We enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool and the whirlpool very much. The hotel also provides a fitness center and a spa that we didn’t have the time to visit but it looked wonderful. We had a small problem losing one of our bags and the staff was very helpful and friendly trying to help us any way possible. I had a very nice experience at this hotel and I highly recommend it.
I visited San Antonio for business purposes and I decided to stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel. The hotel;s location is very convenient and central. When I arrived the check in was fast and the staff was very kind and friendly. The lobby was nicely decorated and the whole hotel was nicely appointed. My room was very spacious, with a desk, a little kitchen area and a very nice view. I also enjoyed the free fast WiFi. The hotel provides a hot breakfast with sausages, biscuits, gravy, coffee and many other choices, but they also offer a free limited buffet at dinner time which includes three alcoholic drinks per person. The drury plaza is a wonderful hotel and one of the finest choices to stay at in San Antonio, I highly recommend it.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio for a little vacation. This hotel has a unique architecture and a victorian decoration. A very interesting fact is that some of the rooms are named after famous people that have stayed in them. The hotel’s location is in the downtown of San Antonio and within walking distance you can visit many attractions, restaurants and bars. The hotel offers a very nice restaurant where you can find a unique selection of menu items. The building is very old, but very well-maintained and from the first time you visit it you can feel the history and the elegance which circle this hotel. I loved my stay there and I highly recommend it to all of you.
My mother and I spent a night at the Hyatt House in Houston. The hotel;s location is very convenient only some blocks away from the GAlleria. The check in/check out was fast and the staff was very accomodating and friendly. Our room was very nice with a beautiful decoration, very spacious, with a full equipped kitchen, but a kind of small bathroom. In the next morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet there, they have a chef at the omelette bar and you can find many cold and hot choices. I definitely recommend it and I will visit it again,
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Homewood Suites in Houston on our way back home from a road trip. The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to the Galleria, where you can find anything you want. The staff was very friendly and kind, and the hotel provides a complimentary continental breakfast which was way better than average. The WiFi was free and the signal was strong and it worked well. Our room was nicely decorated, with a kitchen, a very comfortable bed and a very clean bathroom. I recommend it to you.
On a business trip last year I spent a week at the Aloft in Houston. It is a very well-maintained property, with a nice decoration and furnishing. In the hotel you can find a bar and a gathering area with a pool table. The hotel also provides a gym area and an indoor heated swimming pool. You can find snacks available to buy any time in the day. The staff was very kind and courteous. My room was very quiet, spacious, clean and cozy. All this for a very reasonable price, I totally recommend it.
We stayed at the Doubletree Suites by Hilton in Austin with my boyfriend for a business trip and we enjoyed our stay very much. When we arrived they gave us some warm cookies which we found to be a nice touch. The hotel provides a very nice restaurant and bar which we didn’t try but it looked wonderful, but we did try the shuttle and it was great, we never had to wait for more than 3 minutes. The hotel’s location is very convenient because you can go anywhere you want by foot. Our room was on a high floor and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel and if I find myself in Austin again I am going to revisit it.
I stayed in W Austin for five days to visit some family members. The hotel’s location is in the heart of the city so you are near to anything you would like. The staff was very kind and friendly. The hotel provides a bar area and a beautiful spa. The lobby is very nicely decorated and a nice place to make new friends. My room was very clean and spacious and I wish I could take the bed home with me because it was one of the finest mattresses I have ever slept on. I highly recommend you this place and I am going to visit it again,
