And the crappy old loud elevator makes screeching and moaning sounds every time it is used and NO ONE gets to sleep.
Worst night ever. Don't let them put you in room 101 (and probably 201 as well) because the crappy old loud elevator is actually tucked in a cut out corner of your room.
Seeing and touching the fossils in the rock face was exhilarating. The walk down from the viewing area was great but remember to wear sturdy shoes and bring a hat.
An awesome place for kids or grownups. My kids liked riding the ponies and the old fashioned doughnut store, but the big hit was the treasure box at the far north end-- panning for gold and mining for minerals.
Rooms are brand new and the area is quiet and without traffic. Stayed two nights and used as a base for Salt Lake City visits.
