Beautiful rock formations and a fully board-walked path. Very short hike with wheelchair accessibility to one overlook. Picnic areas and outhouse-style bathroom.
Considering that the pool was broken and you needed to pay an additional $15 for parking, the cost did not match the amenities. In addition we were charged double for parking. If you stay here you must double check your receipt. There are some inconsistencies with how they bill you.
This place was fine to get out and walk around but not many water fountains and not much shade over the playground or walking paths. Not much parking either. If you want to bike around this an expansive park and good place to do so. It looks like they have rental bikes as well.
Nice service, breakfast included, outdoor pool was closed when we got there. Mattresses were brand new when we got there- we saw the old mattresses piled outside. Could be a bit cleaner as rooms were on the small side for Hampton inn. Nonetheless a good-enough option.
The longest cave in the world! You won’t get hokey gem sifting stations or made-up stories about the cave formations here! This is an awesome state park with wonderful rangers taking care of the area and leading the informative tours. You will learn a lot about caves and see some amazing parts of this massive cave system. We stopped here for a morning tour which included 500 steps and some breaks for sitting and learning. I would gladly stay 3 days to take more tours and hike around.
The best of what you’d expect- nice sized rooms, clean bathrooms, breakfast included. Some fast food and sit down restaurants within walking distance.
Love this place! A great, expansive playground for all ages. A very well done nature center for kids to play. A water feature for splashing. And trails and nature. I plan on stopping every time we go through Indy on a road trip with kids.
Clean, pool and breakfast included, good dimensions of room.
Clean with a pool and breakfast included, but I felt the room offered less space than at other Hampton Inns and the decor seemed more dated than at other locations.
Hotel is mostly clean, included breakfast and a pool, and offers friendly service. At about $100 per night I felt the price was appropriate for what was offered.
