Really tasty and healthy. Try to get there when they have the blt on special! Cash only, though.
Total bro-tastic shithole. Why would you go here ever? Are you getting your degree in Business? Then you've probably already been here, challenged me to a fight, and in the same breath, told me to scope the sorority chick you brought and have gotten super drunk. The worst. Also, constantly getting shut down for not re-upping their liquor license so drink at your own peril.
Very forgettable. I didn't even remember I went to this place for lunch after I graduated from OU until I was poking around the map today.
This place is the best shop in town to find any and all plays you're looking for. They stock regular published editions as well as actors' editions, and they have local playwrights, regionally-famous ones from around the country/world, and the classics, natch. Definitely the first stop if you're looking for plays.
IT'S THE BEST AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT.
Went to LA's COMIKAZE Expo here, and it's a pretty good convention space. Bring comfy shoes though-- a lot of the bigger halls don't have carpeting, so it's just you vs. the cement for eight hours.
Saw THE DEVIL'S DOUBLE at this theater... Very high quality, but not much character. It's not like seeing a movie at the Dolby or at the Kodak, where you get the sense of history and character that this town associates with movies. It's just one more movie theater in one more American mall.
This is a record store to get lost in. They may not have everything you're looking for (but they'll get close), and they'll have a bunch of things you didn't know you needed. Picked up a used Echo & The Bunnymen record, PAUL'S BOUTIQUE by the Beastie Boys and Titus Andronicus' THE MONITOR, all for great prices. Used records are super playable, no issues. Parking is a little bit of a bear, but that's LA for you.
Saw BB King here in 2008, and it was one of the formative experiences of my young life. Beautiful interior with a lot of historical charm. Pricey, though.
Cullen is not wrong.
