Opulent elegance to the max. Very much enjoyed every room. Be sure to ask about the construction....done in 4 years as much of it came preassembled from different parts of Europe! Still unfathomable. The life and times of the people who lived there is equally as interesting. The deal on the mansions - get the 5 mansion pass. They are good forever and a real deal. We have made 3 trips, with no additional entrance fees - take in just one or two mansions at a time (about all one can absorb!).

One of my favorite places to eat in Milford. Cannot go wrong for breakfast or for lunch. You have standard fare, and lots of unusual and tasty combos. They have a whole mess of "signature creations' that are different piles of eggs and meats and cheeses and sauces over hash browns or sweet potato fries. Add another assortment of breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon brioche french toast, cast iron skillet apple cake. Lunch has a similar variety of sandwiches, burgers, soups and salads. Just check it out. They try for local organic food when they can.
Prices are reasonable for great food. Service can be slow as they are busy. It can be crowded and noisy inside at prime times as it is close quarters. Best seating is at the window table that hangs over the river. Also a side room and outside tables, as well as stools around the service area augment the main tables.
The restaurant has been a local stand by for years, but the newest incarnation is the best yet.

Cute little bridge. Nice view of river and town. Behind the main street so you need to go behind stores to find it. Near a little walkway and "harmony park", where there are oversized pipe xylophones you can play. Fun for any age.
