If you visit Fort Worth then you really have to visit the Water Gardens! The people that created this place must be geniuses, it is one of the most relaxing places I have ever been at! It is a piece of art in the middle of the city. We visited the Water Gardens with my husband in the afternoon and I think that’s the best hour of the day to tour this place. It is also free, so it’s one of the “must see” places in the area.
We visited the River Bend Nature Center with my son while in Witchita Falls for some family time and we had a lot of fun. My son really enjoyed spending time learning about nature and doing educational activities. When the event was done the kids went inside and enjoyed some pop corn. In this place you can find a very nice gift shop. The staff was very friendly and good with kids. I overheard other people saying that you can organise events, birthdays even weddings here! If you find yourself in Wichita Falls take your kid and visit the River Bend Nature Center you won’t regret it!
My husband and I visited the Trinity River Audubon Center and we loved it! The staff was very helpful and professional and they give us a Birding Tour which we really enjoyed! All the indoor and outdoor activities are wonderful from the classes to the hiking! The green building is perfect, they have even take care of the details, I was speechless when they told us that the windows of the building are in a certain angle so birds won’t fly into them. If you are interested in the environment then you have to visit this place!
