Very peaceful and scenic.
Not much there besides hills. However, I believe that the grounds are totally haunted. Weird stuff happened to my watch and my phone when I was walking around!
Great place for a first date! Boerner Botanical is in Witnall park which has many hidden waterfalls and trails. Stay awhile and explore.
Bong is great, plenty of trails, some paved some not. Check out their website for fun activities they put on, in the winter months they usually do romantic candle lit walks!
If your into swords, this is the place to go!

So glad I went ! Very cool and kinda creepy. I know this is common sense but wear close toed shoes! There are a lot of fire ants around the grounds and they loved chopping on my toes because I wore flip flops.
The dirtiest beach I have ever been on, I can't believe it is a state park. Garbage litters this beach, in the sand, in the water, everywhere. It even smells like burning garbage from the fires on the beach. Very sad. Only good thing is I found a bunch of sand dollars Along the shoreline.
We were there when there was no sea lions in the caves. Saw a couple floating off in the distance. Pretty expensive even though they discounted us for not seeing any sea lions. However we Saw whale off the coast that made it all worth it. A bit of a tourist trap.
When it says "very casual family restaurant" they weren't kidding, it's run down but the people who work there are genuine and kind. Sweet tea was fabulous along with beef brisket. Dine in or take out.
