Excellent shop with quality items. Beautiful setting too. Take a shuttle to the Omni Hotel.
This area is hard to navigate. Old homes-now shops, on narrow streets. Parking is very hard to find. The bright light here is the New Morning Gallery. It is exceptional!
We stayed at this hotel 9/18-25/21. At that time they were not offering housekeeping services unless you specifically asked for it. Hotel is standard. Good waffles for breakfast.
My husband and I came for lunch. We had the Italian panini with chips and split it. There was a sharing charge so we got a second bag of chips. Very good sandwich. Unique decor with artwork of locals. There are a couple art places in town we will check out next. They have outdoor seating on a covered patio. This seems to be the spot the locals like. Decor inside is rather low budget. The chairs need repairs and it is in an old building. Good food and great service.
My husband and I stayed one night. The location is great, near lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated, friendly staff, good beds, good breakfast. They have an outdoor pool. Large bathroom and space for suitcases in room. A second luggage rack would have been nice. Lots of outlets and USBs. I would stay here again.
My husband and I stayed two nights. We had a 10th floor river view room which was on a corner and larger than most. It was nice. We could see the pyramid where the Bass Pro Shop is, the entrance to Mud River Park and the river. I liked the extra room where there was a closet and luggaga rack. The space in the bathroom was small. It was clean, quiet and had a good bed. The hotel has covered inside parking and an elevator directly to your floor. The breakfast area was not big enough for all the guests that came at the same time. Selection was the same as most hotels.
I need to add thst their Wifi is sooooo slow we could not stand tonuse it. My cellular was faster.
Hotel is fine except for the lack of an elevator. It has 2 floors and no elevator. We were assigned a second floor room and I had to ask for a first floor room because at 67 years old, we were not willing to drag our luggage up a flight of stairs. We got the handicapped room, which was fine.
The breakfast was OK but not as extensive as other similar hotels.
Very nice gallery. Good variety of jewelry, pottery, wall art, fiber art, fused glass and lots more. They have lots of beautiful Larimar, Labradorite, Moonstone and sterling silver jewelry. Some pieces are designed by a local artist and are awesome. The wall art is by several artists who use different styles. All were unusual, beautiful and fairly priced.
