A must stop for fans of Buffalo Bill Cody and other Wild West figures. In general a great look into the home of people who first moved out into the Midwest & Plains. Be sure to get something at the gift shop and keep little places like this open.

If you like pulling over for roadside attractions, especially the large statuesque ones. Maybe make a detour to Madison, Minnesota for the World's largest Lukefisk. Nice little park to stop and stretch your legs and eat a snack at while on the road.

I wasn't expecting too much from this place as it's just a little small shop that looks a littler corporate, but they had one of the most memorable lobster rolls I had the entire week I was in Maine.

Just a great little small town drive-in theater. Greta snack selection, two screens, and a run of fairly new movies that run on double feature. Just a great way to spend a summer night under the stars.

I was really surprised at how well this memorial was done. There's a solemness that comes over you while on this hallowed ground and that probably has a lot to do with the thought put into designing it.

Would have been really cool to see, even if it was abandoned. Sadly it burned down and now it's just a shoulder on the side of the road. View is alright.

If you have time to kill maybe stop and look around. Literally just a house that someone turned into a bison themed store. Not a rip off or anything, just not much to see,

Hey it's Long John Silver's, you know what you're getting into. This one is just as good as the rest of them. Bonus points there's a great little sitting area behind it and the McDonald's that's right by a creek where you can relax. We saw some ducks that live there and apparently you can fish this post as well.

Home to part of the Appalachian Trail and Thaddeus Steven's Blacksmith shop. This state park has a lot to see and do. A great stop to stretch your legs along the transcontinental Lincoln Highway.

Honestly you either going to fall in love with the place, or feel completely bored. So much to see, but you really have to have an imagination to relive what it was like to be here during the war. I've been twice and I still don't feel like I've scratched the surface of what there is to see. Bring hiking shoes.
