My kids are loving our little cabin. Clean and quaint. The town is adorable. Worth the stop for the night.

I found this fascinating! You can still see the ruts in places. The kids and I listened to some podcasts about the Oregon Trail on the way. Made the drive through Nebraska more tolerable. Ha! This is not at the main site with the visitors center it’s about 2 mile east of it at an entrance on the south side of the road.

This was a nice stop and history lesson for my boys. The video is a must and it’s only 11 minutes. It’s right off the highway. Just the one building remains and the saved it because of the murals. Staff very nice.
