A great place to camp for the night or stay a few days. Hot showers and great staff.

A hard walk up , but worth it once you get to the top. The path is steep and the footing is unsteady because you are on rocky sand so you loose a bit of each step. The interior of the cone is worth seeing and the views from the top are great. A must do !

Worth the walk. It was one of the best hikes in the park. The 2200 foot ascent was well worth the work. The views at the top are gorgeous! And afterwards relax with a drink and lunch at the cafe at the visitors center.
