Meh. The lighthouse itself is pretty small, very cramped inside, a short climb up some steps to get to the lense, friendly folks working the gift shop. Climb to the top just to say you did. The view from the grounds are SPECTACULAR. It is a VERY steep walk down to the lighthouse and equally tough to climb back to the parking lot. Octopus tree is nearby, just as difficult to get to, just as mediocre, in my opinion. I would recommend visiting this place, but shouldn't allocate too much time here.

Just ok. $5 per car entry fee. Beautiful, wonderful views from the parking lot. It's got a couple of picnic tables and a gift shop The tower itself is free to enter, and it's a grueling 165+ steps to the top, where you enjoy....essentially the exact same beautiful views that you get from the parking lot. The tower inside is dark, cramped, dizzying, and full of scared and crying people (children and adults alike were having panic attacks) I would say come enjoy the view, but skip climbing the tower. It's really not worth it.

A must visit!!!! The factory itself was a little boring. You just get to watch assembly line workers doing their job. There's no visible cheese making during the tour, unfortunately. That being said, stopping in to eat at the cafe is 100% worth it. Ok, the lines were a little long, but it's to give you a chance to make new friends (yes, I did, actually), and the prices are a little high, but the food is the bomb!!!! We got the pizza + grilled cheese and soup, and it was amazing. They have ice cream as well, and they let you sample as many flavors as you want. We got the Oregon strawberry and the malt moo shake. YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM!!!!! Sure you can probably buy Tillamook cheese and ice cream at your local grocery chain, so the real treat here is the gift shop where I BOUGHT A 6 YEAR OLD BLOCK OF CHEESE! They have vintage reserves of cheddar, chunks of spare cheese parts sold in a bag, different flavors of cheeses that are sold exclusively at the factory. They also have the usual souvenirs like shirts and magnets, as well as a huge market full of fruit preserves, honey, crackers, meats, and other fancy cheese pairings. There is also a Tillamook Farm Experience, but I didn't know about it until we were leaving, so be sure to make time to go check it outl

INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Wow, amazing beach!!!!! I arrived around 9 am, and there were maybe a dozen people there. The beach is incredibly clean! No trash, no animals, no seaweed, no dead animals (the crabs and things that the birds would drag up and eat, if there were birds here....but there aren't) There is a very cool tunnel through a big hill that takes you to the other side of the beach. I spent about 2 hours here, and wish I could've stayed all day. Absolutely must visit if you're in the area! It was a reasonable and very gorgeous drive from Portland, and the Tillamook creamery is very nearby.

Fucking YIKES. Groups of homeless men were following me around the parking area, and I was really threatened. I didn't feel safe to use the bike path, because I was sure my car would be broken into. I stood around and looked at the water for about 10 minutes then bounced. Absolutely would not recommend anyone come here. Across the rive looked like a much safer and prettier place.

I loved staying here. It's very quaint and cute, the most affordable place I was able to find during a June vacation, very very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, and wonderful location!!! I was able to book a room overlooking the river for less than $100 a night. You can walk to the back of the property and walk right into Rocky Mountain National Park along the Big Thompson River. Lots and lots of wildlife around too. We saw elk, deer, rabbits, chipmunks, and tons of hummingbirds. Great value, great place to stay. Highly recommend.

I was imagining more of an all around UFO museum, but this place is 98% dedicated to the Roswell incident (understandably! but just not what I was expecting) Most exciting part was seeing a replica of the palenque astronaut. WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!

My husband and I are in no way like die hard BB fanatics or anything, but this was still a really exciting thing to see!!! We parked on the corner across from the house and took pictures since there were S E V E N signs on the property warning that the house was under surveillance, it was private property, trespassers will be prosecuted, etc, etc.

Very fun stop for Breaking Bad fans. There's a guest book to sign when you order, a handful of photo ops, and the food was OK. I had a XMAS chicken burrito (red and green chile) and husband had the Indian taco. We were satisfied, but it's just Mexican fast food. Nothing exciting.
