This was cool because it's such a famous picture. Neat to see the location. It's covered in vineyards and there isn't a place to pull over. Either way We enjoyed it

I visited the Upper Canyon and yes its true it is very packed. But don't let that discourage you because its amazing! The upper canyon is known for the sun beams that shine down from 11-1pm. I might have not got that empty canyon shot but non the less just being able to walk into a canyon and see it in person was worth the crowd. The tour will cost you around 40$ and you can buy it at the parking lot of the upper canyon. LOVE THIS!!

Around Page there aren't many signs that point to horseshoe bend, its sort of off the interstate and then you'll see a state sign for it and a parking lot. You have to do a 20 minute hike out to it - so if you visit in the peak of summer like I did - bring lots of water! Seeing the bend in person is jaw dropping and its incredibly beautiful. Standing near the edge is thrilling! I'd suggest walking around the area and you'll be able to see different view points of the bend. Don't miss this!

Wupatki is a pretty scenic drive next to sunset crater. You can visit both for a 5$ fee - which is an honor system. The pueblos at wupaki are beautiful and the landscape is so harsh its hard to imagine that a civilization thrived here. I'd recommend going into the visitor center before looking at the main pueblo because for 1$ or 2$ you can get a laminated information sheet that tells you which room was used for. Great stuff - if your in route around this area, worth checking out!

I was disappointed to realize that I couldn't hike up to see the hole of the crater but I did drive around the park and did a lava walk. Its pretty amazing to see the scenery and imagine people once inhabited the area. For 5$, you can't beat it.

This place is awesome! It will cost you 20$ to park and its a quick drive out of Sedona. I parked on the side of the highway and walked into the park to save some money. I went on a Thursday and there were lots of people there but exploring the area was a lot of fun. I'd recommend wearing jean shorts over your bathing suits. Locals told me horror stories of bathing suits ripping off and people left being a naked butt. Over all awesome area... was apple homestead about 100 years ago!

the hike was fairly easy. a good 4 miles .. 2 miles in.. 2 miles out. I would suggest going with plenty of water and enough sunlight. Be careful around the bridge a woman last year slipped, fell off, and died. However, I would recommend this! the scenery is incredible..
