Fun place. Apartment style lodging, decor was updated, but not bath & kitchen. Bed was comfy and staff was friendly.
The resort is a great idea, but since each cabin is individually owned they are equipped quite differently. The cleanliness was a little lacking. The front desk staff was very accommodating when we asked to be moved from the first cabin (modular home) because of seriously lacking amenities. Worked well for traveling with a toddler, but we probably wouldn't stay there again.
Loved the room, the lovely couple that manage the place and the proximity to old town, but our room was the closest to Hwy 101 and very noisy. The one way traffic control right in front didn't help the matter.
I had no idea what to expect from a hostel but this place was wonderful! One of the residents did mention that we came at one of the best times, since we were traveling with a toddler, because usually it's rather noisy in the summer. The decor was minimal, but perfect.

One of our favorite stops on our road trip. Room was fun and staff was great, especially with our 18 mos old.
Very spacious room and clean! The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room wasn't as modern as the pictures indicated, but worked well for what we needed.
