The gift shop is closed due to COVID, but our experience was still great! The tasting area was moved outside. The owner was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The chips were delicious! We are from the Baltimore area and the crab chips are better than any we can get in our area! Would definitely recommend a stop!

My family had a fun hour or so walking on the clearly marked path. May be difficult for young children or this with balance issues. Lots of stairs and some slippery spots. The map and path were very easy to follow and leads you in a loop back to the entrance. In addition to the sights, there is a short rock wall where you climb vertically, the option of frisbee golf, a gem “mining” activity, and of course, a gift shop with lots of stones. It was a nice one time visit!

We had a great time at the jelly belly factory! We took the free walking tour, and even though a lot of the factory wasn’t working and due to some maintenance cleaning coming up, we still had a great time! There was video narration throughout the tour to explain the history of the company as well as how the jellybeans are manufactured. We really liked that it was self paced because we wanted to take time to watch the videos while the rest of the group seemed to want to get done quickly. The kids loved taking pictures with the Jelly Belly mascot. My husband and I got the wine and chocolate tasting and the kids got their own version. It was $20 per adult for six wine tastes and six chocolates. $13 per child for a bottle of apple cider and five chocolate tastes. They also gave us two Jelly Belly wine glasses per adult to take home with us. And, of course,we had to take some sweets home with us as well. Some very unique fudge flavors available with other chocolate treats and, of course, jellybeans! We would definitely recommend this as a fun activity for kids and adults!

Beautiful campground. The kids had a blast at the playground and our tent camp spot was right on the river with a beautiful view. Nice and quiet and the ground was flat. The shower was clean, but bring coins with you. I estimate it’s about $2 for a 10 minute shower. A woman told me that it takes American quarters, but I used Canadian. I couldn’t figure out how to change the temperature since there is no knob. It was kind of hot, but I’d rather that than cold. Overall, a very nice experience at Gold Springs Park!

Good for a flat place to sleep. Power and water worked great. Wifi seemed to be turned off at night but turned on in the morning. The game room and was not what we expected. The pool table had plastic over it, couldn’t find a tv, game system, or DVD player. Some old board games and a broken pac man machine. If you want to play checkers or Connect 4, you will be happy. The game room did not seem maintained or clean. Shower was fine. Bathrooms were clean. At dusk there are a lot of mosquitoes, so be prepared. Also, they let their dogs and cats roam the property. They are all friendly, but this might be a problem for some people. The owner was nice enough, but this place definitely wasn’t the destination it was advertised to be.

So much more than we expected! To spend time and explore everything budget 2-3 hours. You can run through it in about an hour if you don’t spend a lot of time in each of the 43 sites. We especially enjoyed the general store, saloon, and drug store complete with thousands of apothecary bottles and an old soda jerk machine! Went with my husband and two kids aged 10 and 6. They loved ringing the school bell and the train bell!
