So much more than I expected. The natural bridge is impressive. It is worth taking some time to take one of the trails down to the river, but be very careful. The rocks are very slippery.
Very well maintained RV park. Had a bit of a retirement home feel to it though. Mainly older audience that are there for the casino. If you are not into gambling there is very little else.
I used to love this place and be a regular guest here but the new owners seem to have introduced some less pleasant business practices. When asking for a place with water and electric hookups (which are close to the pool), I was given the impression that there was limited availability and was placed in a full hookup site (long way from the pool) It soon became clear that there was actually plenty of availability and they just tried to get me take a more expensive spot. And then when asking if I could use one of the grills in an open spot (in the tent area) since my spot did not have one, I was told I would have to buy a $30 dollar grill.
The new free wifi unfortunately gave no internet access.
Needless to say they wont see me again here.

Nice location right on the river. If you like parties and kids entertainment then this is the place to go, if not avoid it. Unfortunately their rules about pets, use of the river etc. are not enforced. Too expensive by my standards
Very nice little campground with an extremely friendly and helpful host. Easy access from the UT-12. Fishing at the reservoir is great. When full 2 more campgrounds are available just about a mile north of this one.
This RV park is actually located in Virginia City itself, between the center and the cemetery, opposite the public pool. It is a very convenient location for a visit of Virginia City, everything is in walking distance. Price is relatively high for the quality of the site though. Great laundry facilities but the opening times are awkward, almost making it impossible to do laundry with an overnight stay.
The photo posted is definitely not of this camp. Camp site has no real grassy area, just hard surface camp spots.
A true little green oasis in the Great Basin, sheltered from the wind, and beautiful views up the canyon towards the snowy mountain tops. Be prepared for a long slow drive though. The 12 mile approach from the US-50 is only paved for the first 2 miles, but it is doable with a regular car, just take your time. Not suitable for RV's over 25 feet. Camping is free.
Despite the name the creek is small and hard to fish, due to the lush vegitation surrounding it.
Very nice little RV camp situated directly along the Duchesne River. Very quiet and rural setting, all grass. Very nice bathrooms. Unfortunately no laundry facilities. Good fishing.
This is definitely not a parking are but an actual campground, with numbered sites and facilities such as picnic tables, fire rings and vault toilets. Unfortunately the USFS outsourced the management of the site and that has resulted in neglect. The pavement is due for renewal, picnic tables are rotting away and there is no garbage collection. Terrific view over the reservoir and the surrounding mountains, but very exposed to the wind.
