We stayed overnight, traveling from VA to TX. Although we asked for a nonsmoking room, it smelled like cigarette smoke. The room is decent, but bathroom could use a good scrubbing 🧽. The attendant was very courteous.
Great little photo opportunity along our trip, stretch our legs and let the kids run around for a few. Lots of parking, we also arrived on a Sunday and had the area to ourselves.
We’ve been driving for over 24 hours and needed a place to sleep. Most places were booked so we got lucky with Quality Inn, and their friendly staff. Not only did they have a room but they had a 4 bedroom 3 bath apt perfect for our family. The unit is clean, but definitely needs some updating. The upstairs bathrooms were a hit or miss on cleanliness but they all had some type of water damage in the walls. It looks as though they’re trying to put this unit together as they are adding a full kitchen. Once they gut the bathrooms and add some finishing touches it’ll be a nice little apt with enough room for any large family.
Great stop!!! Definitely a 5 for creepy vibes. We walked around for a good 45 minutes looking at the various structures. We could hear someone working on a house off in the distance but what got us was that there were 13 other cars parked along side us but we couldn't find a single soul aside from the person working on one house. Decided it was time to go.
If you're looking for cars in tip top shape, this stop isn't for you. Looks like they used old broken down vehicles and painted them. We had a blast with the photo opportunity, but then again I've been a fan of Scooby-Doo for decades lol If you're keeping a photo log of your trip this may make a nice addition 😊
We stayed at a motel down the road from the cans and stopped on our way out the next morning. Great little photo op 😊
We stayed in the family room; very clean just missing some items like a blow dryer. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's right next to a Flying J truck stop. Great for an overnight stay.
THIS IS NOT A MOTEL 6 - After being on the road for 15 hours we were in dire need of sleep. It being Labor Day weekend, finding a room wasn't easy but we could have slept in our cars. Pets are allowed, definite plus; however, everything else needs to be worked on. The maids must be on strike because nothing was clean.
