Very pretty hotel. The dinner in the restaurant was great too, and way cheaper than anything on the Riverwalk. Unfortunately, we did not have any paranormal experiences here…☺️
Beautiful! The park ranger who talked to us about the mission was great, but I have forgotten her name.
Well worth a visit!
This place was beautiful! A must see!
What a breath of fresh air! I was so shocked at how clean and quiet this hotel was! The man at the front desk (I’m so sorry, his name escapes me) was so kind and offered us great information on sites and places to eat. His little boy is super cute too! Not one single complaint!
We went in June, and it was absolutely amazing. The old homesteads, churches, and grist mill are a must see. The mountain views are breathtaking and we saw a bear as well. There were people along the trail, but it was never "crowded." Very enjoyable and very peaceful!
July 2018 - I myself did not go, but my son and two friends went on our trip to Florida (for his high school graduation trip). He had a blast! Great pictures and videos!! We will be going back!
July 2018 - I took an obscene amount of pictures here! Just the absolute neatest thing we could have visited. This was a way-point on our trip to Orlando for my son's high school graduation trip. I loved it. My son and his friends weren't completely thrilled, but I think as they get older they would be (or had they not been in a car since 3 AM across three states, LOL). Definitely a must see. I will go back for sure.
July 2018 - This was not the cleanest LaQuinta we have ever stayed in, but I'm guessing it could have been worse. Lots of kiddos there from a Pee-Wee football league. It was neat seeing those little guys as this trip was for my son's high school graduation. The rooms were fine, but the grounds were very dirty. Breeze way (or hallway) was filthy. Staff was okay.
