Just off Hwy 101 you would think the traffic noise would be a bother. Not here. a creek runs along the campground and the ocean is a short walk under the highway overpass, which is home to hundreds of swallow nests - fun to watch their aerial stunts. Plenty of space between campsites. Water sources readily available. The bathrooms/showers were really clean. We tented and woke up to the legendary Oregon mist so make sure if you tent you put your fly on.
Stayed one night and was thoroughly wowed by the beach - Miles and miles in either direction of flour like sand and wild crashing surf. A fantastic place to enjoy the Oregon Coast.
So awesome! Stayed in one of the classrooms and loved everything about it. The windows open out to lush gardens and the decor of the entire place is out of the ordinary. It really is hard to describe. The staff was helpful AND friendly - really enjoyed our stay. Giving it a 4 though - We had dinner in the main restaurant, it was OK.
