The staff was nice, but if I'm honest the food was just average. They were out of rotisserie chicken. The pork was a bit dry, and we didn't even eat half of it. They used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, which is decent, but I like unique homemade stuff. The chili was probably the best thing, and it was more like a coney sauce then chili. I did like that it didn't have beans. I wouldn't go back, but would choose Sunrise Grille, Red Bug Motors Pizza, Tortuga Jack's, or Fuze Frozen Yogurt over that.
Amazing and HUGE chicken Cesar salad. The sandwiches and fries the rest had with me they all seemed to enjoy. There were fountain drinks with free refills. The ice water was very good that I had. There were large picnic benches/tables where our part of 8 barely fit at one.
Came here to see my friend's daughter's performance of the Nutcracker. It was amazing. The seat were comfortable. Staff was friendly. I'd return if in the area again.
Was clean and nice, easy to find things. We were looking for last minute gift wrap including a large bag and tissue paper, which we found both.
One of the best ones we've eaten at. The employees were great, as well as the food. Love that you can get the egg white grillers without a muffin in a container with a fork and knife.
We stayed here on an 11 hour drive south. It was 2/3 of the way into our trip, and they had availability on a Friday, which we booked same day. It was a very short drive off of the main highway. It did look pretty busy, but was relatively quiet for a weekend. We used the digital key check-in, so we didn't have contact with any staff. We were able to use our HH Honors points, as we are long time Diamond Members. Our king bed room was nice and spacious, including the bathroom with walk in shower. We didn't get to use many of the extras (pool, breakfast, etc.) as we were just using it as a sleeping/shower room basically. Also, there was a Chick-fil-A very close, and we opted to eat breakfast there. We would stay here if in the area again.
Normally we go here for breakfast, but today we went for lunch. Their keish was very good as well as their chicken noodle soup. My husband had a burger that he enjoyed which came with a little bag of chips. As always their hot beverages are amazing. We had the Dirty Chai & a latte made with coconut milk. They also have a gift shop and I picked up a tin of Harney & Sons peppermint tea sashes for my friend's birthday present. They offer takeout and dine in. They are not open for dinner. I'd highly recommend this place if in the area. A great local spot!
This sits in a very pretty area and is very rural. I don't feel I can give an accurate rating because most of the park was closed the day we went. It got dark very early that day in December. Also, the weather complicated things. It started raining hard, so we didn't get out to look at the bison or walk around and explore. We didn't see any wildlife. It was rather disappointing. Also, our GPS said it was right off the highway, but it was an extra 20 minutes (10 in and 10 back out) of our trip. Had we of known this, we wouldn't have stopped. Another thing to be aware of is we normally have good cell reception and we drive all over the country. We lost reception on Verizon (husband's work phone) and ATT&T (my personal phone) for the most part of the 20 minute drive in and out until we got back to the main highway. I think it has potential and our day was just a fluke, but I don't really know.
We stopped here for dinner. The staff was super nice. The food was fresh and hot. I like that their chili doesn't have beans in it and they don't skimp on the cheese. We'd go back again if in the area.
Pad Thai was descent, could have used a little more flavoring. The Chicken & Broccoli was good. Wonton soup was average. First time here. Might return again.
