Good food but weird place.
Amazing, breath taking and def a hidden gem. I took my 5 and 11 year old and they loved it so much they want to go back on our way home. It was a pretty easy hike and worth it for the amazing view. This is now our number 1 hike.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I took a video of all the cats because every single one was pacing frantic in there tiny gravel pins. I'm sending it to PETA. The looked so stressed out and sad. All the people around us in the zoo were freaked out as well. I heard people saying they felt guilty even taking pictures. I thought this was a rescue place but no it's just another zoo but it's worse then that because how small and un natural the animals living spaces are. My 5 year old daughter said " mommy what's wrong with the monkey" I look and there's a chimpanzee not even moving just looked so so sad. Our family left very upset.
We liked this campground it was clean and friendly. There were a few things we didn't like... For one the people that work there on duty drive around all day checking everyone's sites. It made us feel uneasy. The camps are very close together and small. But the walk to the beach and the beach are beautiful.
AMAZING!!!! The best by far and we did them all. There was a ranger who does periodic tours so we jumped in with him and learned so much. Great place for pics.
We did the Jedidiah Smith hike first and ran into a ranger who does short tour/lessons on redwoods. So when we did trees of mystery we were very disappointed. Some of the facts were wrong. However it's the redwoods so there amazing I would just save the money next time for sure.
Haha I got cut off. What I was going to say was it was a blast to find. So worth looking for if your a fan.
