What a wonderful spot! Huge picnic area, very interesting exhibits and a lovely walking trail to various points of interest from Carver's childhood. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trail.

Not only is this the nicest KOA I've ever stayed in, it's one of the nicest campgrounds, period. The facility is very close to OKC, Tinker AFB and major traffic arteries, but it's leafy and quiet, and extremely thoughtfully designed and maintained by a kind and caring staff. From the large dog run to the large campsites (some with landscaped terraced patios) to bath facilities that I'd be happy to have in my own home, this one is a keeper.

Cleanest campground I've ever stayed in - bathrooms and showers were not only spotless, but they appear to be recently renovated - and there is a lovely (unfenced) pet area. The owners are wonderful and accommodated our later arrival and the park is less than a mile from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. Could not have asked for more!
