It's a fun trip and worth the $20+ if you want to see a meteor crater up close. Unexpectedly interesting museum and gift shop, too. Senior discount.

LOVED this campground and park! All spots are good and offer a sense of space and privacy. Great walking trails. Extremely windy in November but worth it!

Better than I expected! It is a bit of a parking lot, but it's clean, well organized, and there is so much to see and do, so we didn't spend much time at the campground. Very convenient trails to the GC visitor's center and sidewalks and trails to the grocery store and other spots. Great spot for walking and bike riding. The elk also made it lots of fun. Absolutely no AT&T connection anywhere, even though I had three bars.

Good campground if you prefer cleanliness and amenities over privacy. Quiet and extremely well kept. The best/most private sites are booked months in advance. We got the last site available (57) and it had zero privacy. Very exposed and wouldn't recommend it unless you will be spending all your time away or inside. Very convenient location. Calls only for reservations. No online booking.
