The directions from the Roadtrippers app had us turning down a dirt road into a neighborhood. Instead drive to state road 95, turn right at the stop sign and it’s a mile or two on the right. It’s worth the visit.
The wife and and I went here in 2021 and thought it was pretty cool. Sure it’s a little run down, but still worth it I think. Now it’s $8 per person to go in. I think if they fixed it up a little they could have something. Still worth checking out.
Close to Mount Rushmore. The room we had was on the outside of the hotel. Even though it’s a no smoking hotel, cigarette smoke was coming into our room from the other guest because they were smoking right outside our door. Get a room that is inside the hotel if you stay here if that might bother you. The room was okay for the price. Staff was real friendly.
Heads up! If you go here for the scenic loop. Take exit 131, not 121. Exit 131 takes you through the Badlands and you get to see more. Exit 131 off of interstate 90, trust me.
