It’s a nice stop to take a pic, stretch your legs, and get some fresh air. It’s just a big egg, but the kids (5 months-6 years) loved it. It’s close to the interstate, but there was not much in the way of gas/facilities so a second stop might be needed.

Very neat building and awesome decor inside. We ordered three bowls of vanilla ice cream and an ice coffee. It took over 25 minutes to get the ice cream and they forgot the coffee. On a positive note, when we finally did get the coffee it was delicious.

Delicious pizza! We had the Viking and the cheesy bread appetizer and chili fries and it was all SO good. We had kids with us and the portions were perfect. We will definitely come back.

We stopped here with kids aged 4 months to 6 years and it was perfect. It's really small (5 acres), but the kids had a blast climbing rocks, walking the short trails, and seeing the mushroom rocks. The bathrooms were really clean, which was a plus for us. It's a nice stop before heading to Lindsborg for lunch.

Such a great stop! It's easily accessible from the freeway. My two year old loved the building! It looks like it's straight out of Cars. The lady that works inside is so sweet and told us the history of the building and restoration. There is a corner with cars playing and puzzles for the kids to play with. The building is restored beautifully and is a sight to see!

It's okay. Kinda fun to write your name on the cars, but other than that we found it unimpressive.

Do not miss this drive! We went in the south entrance of the Petrified National Forest from Holbrook. It was about a thirty minute drive to the entrance, about 1-1.5 hour drive through the park, and we finished at the 40. The views were INCREDIBLE. The Blue Mesa Trail and Painted Desert are things that everyone should see in their lifetime. The colors are indescribable. The lookouts are breathtaking. The petrified wood is awesome. We saw deer, lizards, condors, Ravens, and tons of little critters (which my two year old loved looking for at the lookouts). Pictures don't do it justice, you have to experience it for yourself.

This place was awesome! My two year old LOVED it! The animals were so close and they were so active. The animals seemed well taken care of and well fed. It was such a different way to experience a variety of animals. We didn't do the walking tour, but look forward to visiting again!
