We unfortunately only had about 1 hour here just what we needed for one of the small hikes around the visitors center. Coming from Death Valley and 30 degrees Celsius and then seeing these weird old trees in ankle deep snow has simply fantastic, the drive up there is amazing - we came for sunrise and there is a view point you drive right past where you can see The Valley and the sierra mountains in all of their glory (at least if you come from the south).
Great tasting food and a lot of great options. We ended up having a tomato soup, Greek salat and a grilled Hollywood something. Everything was good and the seating out back was absolutely beautiful. The only reason they don't get 5 stars are the flies out back and the price - compared to the size of the servings it's a bit pricy.
