It's a nice facility with some well cared for animals. The big cats are easy to see along the walking tail. We did the self guided tour and was given a book to read along the way that told information about where each cat came from and more. The staff was friendly and informative. I recommend taking the time out of your trip to check this place out. Our little ones also really enjoyed it.
It was a very hot but nice walk through the gardens. We went during August $1 days. With our family of 4 entrance to the children's garden (was $3 extra) and parking (you have to pay $5 to park) it was $11 total. Make sure you bring water. There are a few areas where the kids can play in water so we brought bathing suits and a towel. There was also a few places with water misters to cool off.
It was a pretty park, but it had rained the mighty before so we really couldn't see very many tracks because they were under water. If you go make sure you bring a bathing suit because the river is really nice to swim or at least sit in.
Very interesting National Monument. Really enjoyed it park ranger was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Short easy walk to get to the site and a really good tour to take
Great monument, wish we had more time on our trip to spend there. The ruins were great!
