Well... after paying $22 for 2 of us to enter, it rained. So we were not able to take the $4 bus ride to the top. Yes, another $4 per person to ride to the top. If you have a family, it's going to cost you a lot of money for this one.
You can see it from the road. Trust me, zoom in, take the photo and keep going!
I mean... do it, already!!!
The ginormous busts are pretty cool to at least see. We did not stay, we just stopped for photos.
I took a right and went down the dirt road for 5 miles. The sun was setting and everything looked so cool.
All I could think about was Mario Bros. I thought this was an amazing tiny park to see. These clever little stops make road trips much more fun exciting. If you have kids, they will love it. If you don't have kids, like me, you will climb these like a kid (like me).
Thank you, Mike!!! We loved our fragrant experience. Your property is lovely and your lavender products are so pure, natural, and spectacular!!! I would love to come again during your annual lavender festival!
I've been in the real one, but to be able to see her up close... pretty cool! After the Ball of Twine and Center of USA, pretty cool!!!!! And it's FREE!!!
I mean, why not visit?! It was really strange to see a wad of twine. It does stink to high heaven and I wasn't about to hug it like others were doing. All I could think about was flesh eating bacteria. But hey, that's just me.
Perfect little free stop on the way to Little Lady Liberty and the Center of the USA monument. There is gas next door, but not much else.
I have to tell you, I was shocked of how much work has been put into this monument. The cabin is in immaculate condition, inside and out.
When you walk inside, the song comes on. I'll admit, I annoyed my friend singing the song for hours after our visit.
I personally think that this was worth the stop.
It does have a portable potty, should you need a pit stop. There are no refreshments as this is a farm, not a commercial property.
I have to say... it's cool to see a town (across tracks) where a warm body is keeping the towns lights on. That being said, 'Population One' must have convinced some friends to move to Lost Springs, or the meet a lovely partner and started a family. The population is now 4!
