Beautiful place. Clean. However, we chose a spot that had a pool to dip in after our long drive. It was 5:00, supposed to be open til 6:00 and it was all locked up. Ranger station also closed.
Great passing through campground. Clean showers and bathrooms. Level spots. Do be aware not to ride a bike through any grass areas. My son got two flats from the little thorn thingies.
Very nice short hike up. If you like old cemeteries, this one does not disappoint.
Beautiful campground. We initially had a full campsite up above, but then switched to along the river which does not have sewage. It was worth it just to wake up and have coffee with the Co river. Restaurant is not open, which was kinda a bummer. Zip lines not open. Rafting was conveniently located on grounds. We had both a campsite and cottage for our older kids to stretch out and gave space to their own. Very clean campground. Friendly staff. Showers are slightly lacking in privacy if you need to use showers. As just a shower curtain and dividers. No doors to shut to dress without being out for all in bathroom to see.
Bathrooms were padlocked still at 9 am. Daughter wanted to shower before hitting road. Don’t understand this.
Seemingly a nice campground, but when you step outta your rv after traveling 8+ hours, just walking along river and get yelled at by I guess a “seasonal” camper to “stay on the other side of the railroad ties” it sets out to be a very ignorant u friendly place. Most campgrounds in our trip across to the west all campers were friendly. The atmosphere of being not welcomed cause we aren’t “seasonal” or locals will have me never making this a stop in the future. It was nice the facility gave free firewood however, so did give a two star for good site, firewood. Bathrooms aren’t too inviting.
Very spacious campground. We had a beautiful spot on lake. Make sure you purchase firewood before you enter, as we had to collect dead fallen wood (which ended up being best campfire of our two weeks camping). And make sure if you need to use showers you Bri g quarters. We didn’t have enough and their change machine was broken. Showers were a bit gross.
Very nice shopping. Although we did not realize shops mostly open Thurs-Sun
Awesome facility! Clean everything! Bathrooms were beautiful! Sites are very nice. We took a trail ride for two hours, my hubby and boys took atv rides. Was great!
Very nice campground. Awesome showers with plenty of hooks, a bench-perfect! Grounds are immaculate facility.
