Fantastic place to stop! The scenic overlook is just off the highway, you'll have to walk (but it's on a sidewalk) to get to the viewing deck. Went in March and there was snow on the ground and it was very neat to be able to see through the trees and see the land and streams that flowed into the New River.

Our group did a bridge tour with Bridge Walk, about $70 per person (but worth it) and we actually got to walk a very narrow catwalk under the bridge. The views were amazing and I felt completely safe, we were harnessed into a line that ran above us. The walk the entire 3030 feet took us about an hour and a half since we were going slowly, snapping photos, and listening to the our guide tell us facts and information about the bridge and it's construction. If you don't get a chance to do the bridge walk, definitely stop and take a look at this awesome structure.

Resort was nice. Plenty of things to do, the only thing I didn't much care for was the fact that in order to get to the pool, restaurants, bowling alley, laser tag, etc. is that you had to drive to a separate building. But other than that, it was a nice stay.

Cool quick stop! Went on a Sunday afternoon, plenty of parking on main street right beside the pencil. Yes it was above the door, but had no trouble taking some fun photos. Down the block is also a big paint can which is neat since you're already there.

Very cool old gas station. If you're a fan of silly roadside attractions for a photo op, you'll like this.
