Ranger Tyler did a great job engaging the kids and providing one of the best Ranger led hikes we have ever been on! This place has the darkest nights... Please be sure to turn off your lights at night so everyone can enjoy the night sky too... 12 trails, mostly up and down the side of a mountain...

Beautiful trail that leads to a Cottonwood patch... Scramble over the rocks for a while to the spring and seasonal waterfall... It's beautiful and a worthy destination for a little snack!

This was the most beautiful trail! We had to stop at a pool of water because we didn't want to get wet, but there are people who went past it... Absolutely spectacular and a must do!

We ate at the restaurant right off the highway... Beer was cold and Mexican plate was good... Won't do the kid's burgers or fajitas again. Waitress was nice view from upstairs and the patio up there makes it all worth it! Cemetery was interesting... Check out the Starlight theater... !

Super fun stop for our family! One of our favorite activities when available is “building” hot tubs along a river. So you can sit in the structure of the hot tub, or build your own... we brought pizza, chocolate cake and river shoes... also next to a great little river to launch a little kayak on if you have someone to pick you up down stream.

Love it here! We did a Rock Climbing Tour... First time with kids ages 7, 11 & 18... It was truly spectacular way to do the Garden.

We hiked the Upper Yosemite Falls trail. We stopped at the base of the upper falls, right when the trail turned away from the falls and goes to the top of the upper trail. My 18 year old went to the top and said the trail gets very narrow in places towards the top and the best view is really at the base of the upper Fall.

We saw people not truly prepared for this hike. Take water... lots of water, and a snack. Flip flops would not be appropriate footwear for this very rocky, uneven climb of a trail. The trail zigzags, then kinda straightens out a little, then zigzags some more. Know that when you get to the spring that comes out the mountain, you are more than half way there and to just keep going. It really is magical.

We followed up by throwing our tubes in the river in the valley and floating down. It was a great way to end the day.

Folks that worked here are super nice! Fresh coffee and hot chocolate throughout the day. $25-35 Uber ride into the heart of the city... and the hot tub is so nice to come home to because it starts getting cold around 5... amazed that we could see whales right at the water. When facing the Pacific, there is a gate that leads down to the beach. The RVs are packed in pretty close together, this isn't a "hang outside your RV location... but it's a great place to stay while you visit Adam Francisco and the surrounding area

Seriously one of our favorite parks. This is a hidden gem with amazing trails and surrounded by huge trees along a mountain stream that is visited by Salmon in the fall! We LOVE it here!
