Visiting this absolutely beautiful park was one of the highlights of my life. I knew I would love this place, and I left mesmerized. The Anasazi were one of the most fascinating ancient cultures in history. And what they left behind at Mesa Verde is truly awe-inspiring. When you look at some of these incredible cliff dwellings, the fact at how they got up there on these sheer canyon walls completely blows your mind. I took the Cliff Palace tour, and it was astonishing. If you tell yourself to, you can feel the peaceful presence of these amazing ancient people.

This place may look absolutely gorgeous from photos, but it's even more stunning in person. These just may well be the prettiest mountains in North America. If you're visiting Yellowstone, ya gotta go here as well! Equally good wildlife viewing opportunities. One of the finest National Parks in the world!

Does it get any better? Yellowstone is one of the most spectacular places on the planet. I felt something truly special just being within park boundaries. Yellowstone is the finest example of wilderness in the lower 48. It's the only place left in the lower 48 where all the native wildlife that used to roam extensively throughout the west many years ago, still thrive today. As an avid nature lover, this is the greatest place on earth in my opinion.

I live less than 45 minutes from the park and have lost count how many times I've visited, and it NEVER gets old! It is a true American gem. The scenery is jaw-dropping by any standards. Fall is the best time of year to visit, and when the elk rut and aspen colors are at their peak, it just doesn't get any better. June in my opinion is a great month to visit too...the water on the creeks and waterfalls is flowing very nicely from the snow melt, the weather is perfect, and life is in abundance. This park is a must for anyone visiting Colorado.
