This place is a must see. It's absolutely beautiful and there's just so much to see. It's a great place to go as a family because the kids will really enjoy all there is to learn and look at and honestly it's a great place to go even if you just go by yourself and need a peaceful place to retreat to for a few hrs.

This place is just down right cool, I didn't even know places like this existed. It has a cool look to it and there's just so many different olive oils to try.

Seriously, everyone needs to see Mount Rushmore just for the sheer reason that it even exists. I mean I don't know about you, but if one of my friends said they're thinking of blowin up a mountain in hopes that the faces of George, Abe, Roosevelt, and Jefferson would somehow appear on it, I would have to really sit down and determine whether or not to have them hauled off to the loony bin. Luckily, the artists responsible for Mount Rushmore, Gutzon and Lincoln Borglum didn't let anything stop them because this is truly a remarkable work of art and a must see if you're passing through the area.

All I have to say is the strip is wildly entertaining. I remember walking the strip in the middle of the day with my sister and parents, I was probably no more 12 yrs old at the time and my dad kept getting handed these cards like right and left and then discarding them in the nearest trash cans. Apparently he was being handed some kind of hooker calling card lol. So that didn't thrill my mom obviously but other than the somewhat trashy vibe the strip can give off at times, I think it's a cool place to visit as a family. You really can't go wrong when it comes to choosing a restaurant and there's a pretty amazing array of stores to choose from if you want to get a little shopping done. I saw Phantom of the Opera while I was there and it was amazing.

I went here on a field trip in 5th grade and had somehow managed to lose my wallet before I had even stepped off the bus so that was pretty devastating and I also discovered on this trip that flamingos are actually not as pink as lawn ornaments depict them to be, so that was equally upsetting. However, I visited this zoo again a few years ago and it was great, I would highly recommend making a day out of it because there's so much to see and learn and I think everyone would enjoy spending time here.

If we're comparing other theme parks like Six Flags and Disneyland to this one then this one isn't as exciting. It doesn't compare in terms of rides, but I think Universal has a pretty cool thing going on when it turns into a scary park around Halloween time.

Who would have thought a ginormous hole in the ground could be so breathtaking, but wow the Grand Canyon is really just a spectacular site to see. I would recommend making a stop here to just take in the view, even if it's only for a half hour.

Alcatraz is seriously one of the coolest places to visit and if it's not on your bucket list then you need to check yourself girlfriend. The tour is awesome and the fact that it starts with a ride on a ferry is even more awesome. (But it's soo cold out on deck so wear layers) When you arrive on The Rock for your tour you will not be disappointed. There's plenty to see and learn about how things were for the inmates back then. The audio aspect of the tour was really cool because even though you're walking through an old vacant prison, the audio helps you to go back in time and you gain such a better understanding of what it is you're looking at and who may have stayed in the cells you're walking past.
