Housekeeping forgot to leave us clean glasses, coffee and coffee cups and a floor towel for the bathroom multiple times. Additionally, the self parking option was never communicated to us, the app said valet was $35 but we were being charged $37 per day. The app also told us that our selected and checked in room was ready but it was not when we arrived; we were promised a call when it was ready (but nobody called us and the app did not re-notify us)— when we finally ended up being able to get into a room it was after official check-in time and was a totally different room than what we selected and had checked into using the app. The keys didn’t work, either. I would say that while front desk and lobby area was nice looking, I honestly could have gotten better accommodations and service at the cheap motel down the road; At least that would have met my expectations. I am thoroughly disappointed with the service and accommodations at this hotel. A couple of drink tickets just don’t make up for lack of attention this place is riddled with.
Skip the main entrance hall it’s all about selling you stuff. Go straight up to the top deck and then down below to the mess hall and engineering. Amazing!!! I loved everything about this. They have veteran volunteers all around telling stories and explaining the boat and aircraft. I thought it was really cool.

SO adorable, we had a simply AMAZING stay here. We went in mid-May just after the pass opened in Yosemite, so it was very quiet and just gorgeous. The cabins are so comfy with cute little pitches for enjoying your coffee. Loved it here!!
Great location and the best hotel we found during our 2 week roadtrip down the California coast! Huge rooms, gorgeous pools, good service.
Very small hotel rooms but otherwise nothing but amazing service, views to die for, fun grounds.
Very cute but I would recommend getting a cabin. The motel part has very thin walls -we could hear every sneeze, fart and movement of our neighbors. Didn’t make for good sleep. Older beds. Pretty unsafe configuration with dressers in front of heaters and such. Surroundings are impeccable though so if you got a cabin it would be awesome. Otherwise don’t intend on sleeping much.
