This place is tucked behind a gas station, we drove by it a couple times before we saw the entrance, but we got it!
It looks more updated than most of the photos on here. This is a really cute park with a nice clean playground and a heated pool with splash pad. The people were friendly and helpful. Sites are not level but everyone has a couple trees which we love as we have 3 dogs. There is a fenced in dog park but it’s near a creek with a lot of mosquitoes.
Beautiful site, hidden gem in Kansas. We are at site 97 on Big Bluestem, this is the tip and waterfront site. It is a bit of a cliff down to the water but we managed to climb down. No sewage but there is a dump station.
Lady at the front counter seemed irritated when I talked to her, but for $23 bucks a night we really can’t complain!
Bring bug spray, like any campsite :)
