This was a great campground. Very laid back. The sites were nearly full with seasonal and long-term campers. We were given a great grassy site away from the bigger rigs. The RV Park is right on the river. There's a tree-lined path down to the river where there were park benches. There's a communal fire pit and barbecues for campers use. Extremely clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. The RV park was very close to Oregon Coast towns. I highly recommend this park.

Great campground -- good facilities although the bathrooms/showers are a bit far from the sites. Private, spacious sites with lots of shade. There are good hiking trails and a fish hatchery. Convenient to the towns in the area. Electric and water at the site.

I agree with the other reviewers that this is a great campground. Spacious sites, clean bathrooms, good showers. If you go there, visit the marina in the park. Great breakfast at the cafe.

I loved this campground. The owner was really gracious and helpful. He gave us a site away from the other campers on the first row looking toward the river. Nice grassy sites with electric and water hook ups (there were full hook ups but we didn't need that). The view of the river was great including a beautiful sunset. Clean bathrooms and showers and laundry facilities (we didn't use the laundry). The driveway might take a bit of maneuvering. We have a small camper trailer so the sharp turn in was okay for us but might be a challenge for larger rigs.

We didn't stay at the marina that's described here but up the road at another campground (there are three in the Echo Lake area). The campground we stayed at had oleander bushes that were in bloom -- it was beautiful. There was only one other person in the campground with us (we were there in the spring). It cost $10 with the National Park Golden Passport. No electric hook ups or nearby water but a great place to stay if only for the oleander (warning: they are poisonous so don't use a branch from them for roasting marshmallows).

If you can stay at this campground, do it. The views are beautiful and the sunset from the point is amazing. We got there first thing in the morning to get on the wait list for a first-come/first-serve site. Well worth the effort. There's electric hook up, paved sites, covered picnic table, and flush toilets but no showers. Great campground and beautiful state park.

This was a standard KOA campground with good facilities (e.g., excellent bathrooms and showers) but shoulder to shoulder sites. We were right on top of our neighbors. They mixed the smaller campers like us in with the larger RVs, which isn't how I prefer it. I like to be separate from the larger rigs. I agree with another reviewer that the campground was too far from downtown. I would choose a different campground if I ever went back to Moab. There are several campgrounds closer to town.

I recommend this place but only if you're prepared for the primitive facilities. It's an excellent experience to be this close to Canyon de Chelley and to stay in a Navaho-owned campground. But the bathrooms are make-shift port-a-potties, there aren't any showers, and the campsites were very dusty (the wind blew really hard when were there). Definitely book the campground owner for a tour of the canyon even if you don't stay in the campground. It was one of the highlights of our cross-country trip.

The showers and bathroom really were spotless. Excellent laundry facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They put us in an area with other smaller camper trailers, away from the bigger RVs, which was great. The RV park is next to Mesa Verde National Park, which is really convenient. The price was more than reasonable for the excellent facilities and the location.

We were at this campground in the early spring. It was beautiful with deer and other wildlife nearby. There were electric hook ups. There were pit toilets and no showers but that's not a reason to avoid this campground. The stars were wonderful.
