Great Barrier Lodge

Overlooking beautiful Whangaparapara Harbour, Great Barrier Lodge offers a restaurant, a function centre and free on-site parking. All accommodation features a kitchenette or access to a shared kitchen. Most accommodation boasts a patio or balcony. Great Barrier Lodge is set on Great Barrier Island, in the Coromandel Peninsula 100 km north-east of Auckland. It is 20 minutes' drive from Great Barrier Aerodrome (Claris Airport). The Great Barrier Island Ferry Terminal is 35 minutes' drive away. Guests can moor and refuel their boat onsite, plus there is a private wharf situated just a few minutes' walk from the property. You can relax in the shared lounge which offers a TV, or enjoy an outdoor BBQ. Accommodation options include self-contained cottages, studios and suites with a kitchenette. Some accommodation offers sea or garden views. All accommodation includes a private bathroom with a shower. The historic Great Barrier Lodge Restaurant is part of the original mill managers house and offers stunning views over the harbour. It is open for lunch and dinner on Thursdays to Saturdays.
