Kaikoura Museum

Kaikoura Museum is a state of the art Museum experience showcasing Kaikoura’s diverse and colourful natural, social and cultural history. Collections and exhibitions take account of the geological and natural history of the district (including some impressive dinosaur fossils), Taonga Maori, early colonial life, whaling, fishing, surfing and a large collection of Marine specimens. It also houses the district’s archives and family histories.
