Golden Springs Motel, Holiday Park & Restaurant

Golden Springs Holiday Park is located along the Thermal Highway (SH5), midway between Taupo and Rotorua (in the North Island). We feature an onsite thermal stream with two soak pools (38oC during dry weather) for our guest's use, and we are also pet fliendly (conditions apply). We are near to a reliable boatramp on the Waikato River (& Lake Ohakuri) and have lots of free parking for guest's boats anbd vehicles. Our onsite restaurant caters for 'Room Service' dinners daily, and for bookings of 8 or more in a cozy atmosphere with fireplace, and a bar to provide drinks of your choice. During the winter months we are able to provide accommodation for trout fishers, contractors and personnel  working in the area at long term WINTER RATES from $160 in a cabin to $260 in a flat / per week (conditions apply). Well suited for families and overseas visitors in a park-like country setting. There are paths and a boardwalk which meander through a fern glade in the lower part of the park, giving an exquisite setting to several thermal hot pools (free) in a natural warm stream and summer swimming pool. We provide a range of accommodation options: motel accommodation, tourist flats (all with lounge/dining area, kitchens, bathrooms, TV), Basic Cabins (shared facilities), a small backpacker unit, 21 power sites divided by mature privit hedges and a variety of tent sites, all neatly mown and trimmed.
