Stroud may be reached by taking Junction 13 off the M5: - Leave Cirencester on the A419, heading towards Stroud. - Approximately 10 minutes after leaving Cirencester, take the left turn, which is signposted Minchinhampton and Aston Down. - Stay on that road and Minchinhampton village is off to your left, but ignore it, we are not actually in the village. - Continue along that road and Minchinhampton Common opens up onto your left. It is a huge piece of common grazing land, so you cannot miss it. - Once you have the common on your left, the second right turn is signposted Burleigh Court. - Take that right turn; this is a narrow country lane which drops you down the side of a hill and over a cattle grid - You will see us on the left-hand side. Cirencester can be reached by taking junction 15 off the M4, or along the M40 via Burford and Bibury. Nestling on the edge of a steep hillside overlooking the Golden Valley, this 18th century Cotswold stone manor house is a hidden gem in the heart of Royal Gloucestershire. Renowned for its warmth, quality of service and 2 Rosette-winning chef, the Burleigh Court exudes a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. Eighteen individually decorated and furnished bedrooms offer stunning views of the gardens or across the Golden Valley. Featuring terraces, ponds and pools with hidden pathways and Cotswold stone walls, the house and gardens enjoy the seclusion and ambiance of an era long-forgotten, and are listed in the Good Garden Guide.
