The Wawa Goose

When you ask people if they know where Wawa is, the question is usually always followed by: “Yeah, that’s the place with that big goose right?” Could you imagine passing by Wawa, and looking up the hill and not seeing the goose looking over the valley? I know I’ve tried and I just can’t imagine this town without the BIG GOOSE! This is why the town of Wawa is developing a fundraising campaign to raise funds and replace our Goose in Spring 2011. Unfortunately, our old Goose has announced that he will be retiring by this Fall. Even though he will be missed, he ‘s told us that he is tired and his weary knees can’t handle the long standing periods any longer, not to mention our really cold winters! So it’s official, he needs a replacement to take over his important job and we need your help to make this happen!
