Evergreen Brick Works

The Evergreen Brick Works, is a former clay quarry located in the Don River valley that has been converted into a large, attractive and distictive city park. There are naturalized ponds and wetlands while the former brick works buildings have been restored and opened as an environmentally focused community and cultural centre by Evergreen, a national charity dedicated to restoring nature in urban environments. The wetlands have attracted many species of birds as well as mammals, reptiles and some fish.
