“cheese, ice cream, and exotic animals”
Located just off the number one highway between B.C. and Alberta, Dutchmen Dairy's farm fresh dairy store is just as anticipated as their zoo of exotic animals (including llamas, donkeys, goats and exotic birds), as well as the calf barn, milking parlour and cheese making plant which tourists can enjoy. The dairy store (left) has served over two million old-fashioned ice cream cones in an array of flavours.
Great ice cream. And was right across from a neat farmers market like stand. Only thing is it didn't have a list of types of ice cream on the wall so you had to say excuse me 50 times to look at all the ice cream as they line you up in front of the ice cream and you have maybe seen 3 flavors before they are asking you to order. Other wise great!
A nice place to take a break and the ice cream is very worth it.
