Owners are very nice and helpful. decent wifi and water and electric at sites. C/G right off highway and far enough so there isn't any road noise. Driving in from the west it is hard to spot the sign for a turnoff. Fortunately there is a convenient turnaround a short way beyond. Coming back the sign is very readable. Again, a little mainteneance would make this problem go away.

This is a wonderful dirt and grass park just off highway 17, a couple miles west of WaWa, Ontario. The office is the smaller building to the left when you arrive - park in front of the two story house on the right.
The entrance road has several potholes but given the brutal, long winters it's not unexpected. Our site was level with strong water pressure and consistent 30 amp power. We didn't have sewer, but some of the sites are FHUs.
The owner made sure we had open sky for satellite, and we still had plenty of shade surrounding our site. The park's free WiFi was the fastest and most consistent we've had in a long time! We don't have cell coverage in Canada.
There is a pool, shower and laundry, and lovely trees throughout the park. The Magpie River flows right beside the park but we didn't see any access through the trees. There may be some at the back of the park.
Dark and quiet at night which we love. Don't bring wood into the park, but she has bundles for sale. Easy access dump at the front.

We got into our site in the early evening on a rainy day. There is not a whole lot of choice of where to stay, but this worked out just fine for us. The people in the office were very friendly. Had a full hook up site and that is about all we did was plug in and sleep.

A rustic but clean and well kept campground that is great for a longer stay or an overnight rest while passing through. Washrooms and showers are clean and well maintained, laundry room works great, pool is nice and the river side area is a great place to chill and relax. Rene and her team are responsive and work hard to make sure everyone has what they need for a good stay. Seasonal campers were friendly, sites are easily accessible and you have all the amenities you need and just in case you do need something else you're only 5 minutes from the town of Wawa for shopping or exploring.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay! A+ for Washrooms and showers. This is our 7th CG in 10 nights and I think this site might have the cleanest facilities we’ve used so far, relatively speaking. Used the laundry service, which also exceeded my expectation and we had a lovely fire with fire wood sold at the typical price. There’s a pool, river water access, and walking paths. Not many campers during our stay which was nice after busy Friday and Saturday nights elsewhere for the long weekend. Only draw back is there isn’t a ton of grass which we prefer because of the dog. It’s just easier to keep the camper clean when the grounds have lots of grass. Owner is very helpful! Would hands down stay again, wish we could stay longer.

We just stopped in for one night, but it was super well run, very clean and organized. Great sized sites and really cool walking trails.

• My site was level, but was tight.
• My RV (26’) and toad fit with about 2 feet to spare.
• Site had power (50 / 30 amp), water and a picnic table.
• Lots of seasonal campers, most are decent.
• Staff was excellent.
• Their WIFI is very slow, hit an miss, used my Rogers Hot Spot and it worked great.
• No TV, not even air channels.
• Showers have good pressure, and lots of hot water.
• Showers could use a deep cleaning.
• The allowed me to wash my RV and Toad at the site, which was awesome of them.
• There was not enough space in my site to connect my toad after my stay, had to pull out onto the main road to connect the car.

Easy to get to, just off 17 on the Lake Superior Circle Road. We emailed same day and they responded very quickly that they had a site for us. $50 Canadian. Wish we could have stayed more than one night. Beautiful scenery on the Magpie River. They have canoes and a paddle boat you can use. Clean showers, toilets. Sites had fire rings and picnic tables. Easy to access dump.

We stayed here in a pull thru site, water + elec only, in August, for 5nts. Great location to explore multiple nearby waterfalls and hike Lake Superior Provincial Park and other areas.
Site was fine, a little tight width wise w/ low hanging pine tree branches. Dusty park roads and rv sites, made worse by no one adhering to 10km/hr speed limit. Back-in sites actually seemed nicer than pull thru sites, especially size-wise, nice pine needle ground cover and how better trimmed the trees were.
Campground rt on Magpie River w/ some nice tent sites overlooking river. Also a couple decent trails on property including river trail.
Range of RVs here from sm travel trailers to large Class As.
Used bathrooms couple times. Showers were big w/ good hot water and pressure, all pluses, but could’ve used more hooks and shelves in shower to place toiletries (none, so had to set your stuff on icky shower floor). And showers themselves were quite dated, not very nice.
By the way, my Progressive EMS got a high voltage reading at some pt during our stay. So you may want to make sure your electronics are protected.
We used laundry, 2 washers, 2 dryers. Was ok, serviceable but hotter than hell, they had no dryer vent so the hot air vented right into the little laundry room, creating a sauna. And oddly enough there were ancient orphan undies, socks etc in corners and half underneath washers, kinda gross.
Finally despite the so so showers this place would rate a 4 if not for the dirty, cigarette butt, charcoal strewn pull thru site we initially were put in. Tried cleaning up some but eventually said f’ it.
The young check-in lady was super nice when I described 50-60 cig butts all over campside of site, fresh garbage in the fire pit and fire pit charcoal scattered all over site for us to track into rv. Politely asked for cleanup or move to another site.
She apologized and then went for help from her manager (or owner?). The auburn haired lady was rude, didn’t intro herself after I did, no apologies at all after I described problems and seemed fully put out by our situation, totally inconviencing her. They did eventually move us to a better, cleaner site but she really left bad impression w/ campground.
Surprising that a Good Sam facility would treat customers like that and especially not cleanup sites between guests. And not keep pine trees nicely trimmed, each day saw RVs break off too close branches pulling in/pulling out of pull thru sites.
If you need a site near Lake Superior, this is doable just be aware may have some issues too

We came here on Labor Day after expecting stay at a Harvest Host spot down the road without any reservations. The Blue Berry Winery was nothing but a dusty parking lot. This location welcomed us in with a nice FHU site near the front entrance. Quiet, clean and shady under numerous pine trees. We were surprised to see how sparsely populated it was on a Labor Day, but then north of Lake Superior is a bit out of the way. We would definitely stay here again.
