“award winning traveling exhibits”
The Okanagan Heritage Museum offers award-winning traveling exhibits from around the world, and provides a home for exhibitions curated by the Kelowna Museums. Our galleries host some of the most engaging installations in the Central Interior of Brisith Columbia. More than just local history, the Okanagan Heritage Museum also provides visitors with a comprehensive Ethnographic Gallery. This gallery allows visitors a chance to explore collections from Europe, Central and South America, Asia, Oceania, and Africa. Our Kelowna focused exhibition space allows our visitors to go back in time to Kelowna before and during incorporation. This museum is also home to two important facilities: the Kelowna Public Archives which serves as a public research facility, and the Ursula Surtees Regional Conservation Laboratory which services the Kelowna Museums Society’s collections as well as other collections from around the Okanagan.
