“The world's longest covered bridge”
The Hartland Bridge in Hartland, New Brunswick, is the world's longest covered bridge,[3] at 391 metres (1,283 ft) long. It crosses the Saint John River from Hartland to Somerville, New Brunswick, Canada. The framework consists of seven small Howe Truss bridges joined together on six piers. Before the bridge, the only way to cross the Saint John River was by ferry.
Cool bridge! Even fits an RV... the boys tested that!
Also check out the Covered Bridge Potato Chip Factory right off the Trans- Canada! Neat tour and yummy fresh chips!
Beautiful setting. Bridge was closed to vehicles due to repairs but you could still walk on it and take pictures as well.
It was fun. A neat little stop. I followed the "bridge and potato chips" sign haha
